Have you ever been on site filling out a ServiceM8 form that a customer needs to review before they actually sign it?
You hand over your iPhone or iPad for the customer to sign in the box on the ServiceM8 app, but they can’t actually review the form, because you haven’t been able to produce it yet….
This means that you’re asking them to sign something they haven’t yet seen.
If this is something you’ve struggled with, then you’ll want to add eSignature fields to your ServiceM8 form.
By removing the customer ‘signature’ question and adding a remote signature field, you’ll be able to complete the form, show it to the customer on the ServiceM8 app and then ask them to sign once they’ve had a chance to read the finished form.
This ServiceM8 article shows you how to do this, or you can take the easy route and ask me to do it for you – Just email me at hazel@hazelwhicher.co.uk to request this change.
